If you don't want to buy a whole package, I'll gladly mail you a couple sheets.

Ooooh, and please do not give up on those bougainvillea! I love those plants. They are so incredibly vibrant and really give oomph. In the end, they will be enormously impressive. The ones you started look so beautiful!

Thank you so much for your sweet comment. And I also agree that it would look fabulous as a stained glass, I wonder if it would be possible to print on an overhead plastic paper or what ever you call it :DMerry Jinglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691825112853460123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5415024920122956510.post-15922130756261681112010-07-09T10:53:19.309-05:002010-07-09T10:53:19.309-05:00It is going to look great Kathi.
I agree with Tab...It is going to look great Kathi.

I agree with Tabs as well...those would look wonderful as stained glass. You can paint them on acetate and leave them as is or you can add leading and paint.

Barbara Sabia does amazing work but it would be really simple to convert this image into faux stained glass. Email me if you need help.

As for the bougainvillea...good luck. I think it would look great stained... many of the Key West doors are and they look so rich and really stand out beautifully against the painted house.

Have you tried to print the image out on tracing paper? It is more translucent if you are planning to put thses over the "glass" in the windows. Sometimes, though, I have had it slip right through as if it wasn't even there with nothing printed on it or jam if it got the least bit crinkled. If you were really ambitious, you could use them as patterns for making leaded windows...ala Barbara Sabia.

http://barbarasabia.com/underthesea.aspx

Have fun!

TabsTabitha Corsicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09204999959878537971noreply@blogger.com
