Sew it Goes

I'm still playing with my new sewing machine. I tried making another outfit for Grandma. I like the little capri pants with one of the decorative stitches my machine makes.

The top is going in the bin. I may make a blouse to match the pants instead?

I've cut out a few other things. I'm starting the white dress over. It is just too big. Then I'm going to try to make a red jogging outfit with a hooded top. I have YARDS of this red t-shirt fabric!

Here is Grandma's Valentine's Day apron in progress. Love this little heart fabric!

For some reason, sewing makes me sleepy. I'm going to go take a nap and then get back to work.

  2. Kathi, you are improving by leaps and bounds!
I like the outfit. I don't thing that the top is bad. I think that you might want to take in the side and underarm seams. That would probably do it. Keep going!!!

  5. Kathi, what a cute outfit! I love the little bow on the top. I would not throw that top away. It matches the pants.

  6. So cute!! You've done such a great job. I don't even have the patience to sew 1:1 clothes, let alone 1:12!!
