I made a rug and started a little chair for the garden center library today. I found this gorgeous fabric on Etsy. I have a whole yard of it to play with...
I'm using white paper clips for the frame of the chair. I still haven't quite figured out how to make the legs?
Hope you have a great day!

ReplyDeleteHi Kathi,
ReplyDeleteI love the new fabric and your chair and rug!
Sorry I've no experience in chair's legs making, so no suggestion for you :-(

Kathi, I used old fashioned hair pins for legs on my modern chairs. Only one bend involved. I sandwiched them between layers of light cardboard and glued them to the seat bottom. They are easily painted if need be.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is really great. Looking forward to see how your finish your chair. I am glad one of has time for mini's! lol Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteGreat set, Kathi.

What about using tiny turnings? Or would that ruin the look of a garden chair?
ReplyDeleteLove this fabric!!! Cant wait to see chairs done. You'll figure it out. Have a very Merry Christmas. LJ

How clever to use a paperclip for making a piece of furniture. Your lovely little chair suits perfectly in a modern interior. Greetings from Liduina.
