Abby's Little Korner

I delivered my "little" gift to my son's family on Saturday.  I really enjoyed their joyful reaction.  We went out to lunch and then did some real antique shopping.  It was a wonderful day!

I found this hurricane lantern in my stash and was so happy that it still works!   I don't remember where the cute little clay couple came from, but they are perfect for the shop.

The little bear had to be added since this is in a Boyd's Bears room box. ❤  He's so cute!

I made just a couple of Christmas things and left room on the shelves for Janice to add minis she finds.  I will probably make her some things for other holidays as they come...

Someone on social media asked me how many "hours" it took for me to put this together?  I had to chuckle... it took months!  It was fun making furniture, signs, flowers and books and finally completing a project!

Janice liked her gift so much that she has asked me to make some decorated lanterns for her shop!  I can't wait to get started!

Thanks for stopping by to comment.  It's so nice to know you are still there!  I will be following your posts as well.  Happy mini making!

"Mary" Christmas!

Look at all of the wonderful little Christmas presents I received from Mary yesterday! What a sweet surprise!

I am overwhelmed by her thoughtfulness and generosity! There were so many packages to open! Each one contained a perfect little gift!

These are some of the precious Christmas ornaments she made. Aren't they beautiful?!!!

I am going to have so much fun with the supplies she sent. The Christmas wallpaper is the perfect scale of one of my Dollar Store shelves. I love the silver tray and rug fabric.

I had to laugh when I saw this huge roll of turquoise duct tape! I've never seen any this color before.

I can tell that Mary has been reading my blog. She knows what my favorite color is for sure! There are lots of "beachy" things to play with too. :D

Thank you SO much Mary! You are so sweet to think of me!

Things To Do?

What are you doing these days between Christmas and New Year's Day? Are you resting? Reflecting? Recovering? Ready to move on? Ready to try something new?

I did change my blog background thanks to The Cutest Blog on the Block. I think it's perfect!

But I'm not quite ready to leave Christmas just yet. My tree is still beautiful. My tummy still full. My house is in need of cleaning and there is laundry to be done. Those things can wait.

The lists can wait. The plans can wait. I just want to keep Christmas here for a little while longer...

Don't you?
