Dollhouse Bed and Dolls

I feel like Goldilocks this morning! My bed looks too big? I measured before I made the bed. It's 6" long, 5" wide and 4" tall. I love the way it turned out, but it seems to look too large for the bedroom? What do you think?

As you can see, I haven't finished the bedding or painted the bed. I just wanted to see what it will look like when it's done. I need to make another pillow or three too...

I've been looking for dolls for my little house. I found these online this morning. So cute! They are made of wood and poseable! I'm not crazy about the clothes in the first photo but I can always make new ones.

I love this pirate family! What a motley crew! I'm thinking that I'll need a group like this to keep "Fiasco" the parrot in line!?

Cheeky Junior

Check out their cool bathroom too! Very unusual but I love it!

I'm excited that I will be on vacation next week so I'll have lots of time to work on my dollhouse!

Hope you have a happy day! Thanks for your comments and ideas!

Blessings, Kathi

The bed does not look too large. Look in one of your real bedrooms, and see how much room the bed takes up.

The bed looks great. I don't think it looks too large. I have some dollhouse bedrooms where the bed takes almost the entire floor space. That is the sad truth about dollhouses.

I love the pirates.

The bed is perfect! And what a cute little troop. Joanna wants dolls for her house and I have molds and a kiln but hardly any time to actually get them made!

Your dollhouse is really coming along nicely and I love the little bed. The bed linens on it look remarkably similiar to the new linens I bought for my beachy bedroom re-do! ;)

I think the best looks perfect in the room. Real beds take up lots of room, and I think seeing big beds adds to the illusion of a mini room. After all, aren't beds supposed to be big and comfy? ;-)

Hi Kathi, thanks for stopping by. Your profile made me laugh witht the meaning of LPN. Aren't we all? Hahaha. Oh my, you and I share a passion for miniatures. I just love them. Yesterday a colleague gave me a tiny ninja and I was so thrilled. Carzy middle aged woman, giggling over a tiny little toy!
