I'm making my very first piece of furniture for my dollhouse! A sofa! I'm using the tutorial I found at MMM Miz Mary's! Let's build a dollhouse sofa.
So far, so good! Now I'm just waiting for the glue to dry so I can put it together!
The fabric is from one of the napkins I got at the Dollar Store. It's a bit plain, but I'm planning to make some snazzy pillows to brighten it up! I love doing counted cross stitch too!
I used a piece of an old mattress pad for the stuffing because I want a comfy sofa!
I still have to cover the little template that goes on the arm of the sofa. I'm also going to try to make a pleated skirt to go around the bottom. That will have to wait until tomorrow...
I'm off to bed. Don't have much time to do minis during the week but this is so much fun! Hope you have a peaceful evening! See you tomorrow!
Blessings, Kathi

Lookin' good, Kathi! See? Plastic wrap is for more than just covering food! Can't wait to see you incorporate some cute cross stich patterns.
Great work Kathi! Can't wait to see the finished result!

It looks great so far-it's so hard to wait for the glue to dry! I love that cross stitch picture- how cute!!! I especially love the little crab:)
Can't wait to see what happens next! You're doing a great job. Love the cross stitching too!
This is one of the projects that I need to do for my living room but I keep putting it off. I will be watching your progress. So far it looks just like I want mine to look - nice and puffy.
I didn't do the cross stitch above. I found it online and am going to use some of the motifs for my own stitching...
