You missplaced your grapes, Kathi! LOL If you use it for a tree, be sure to let it dry well. It will change shape on you if you don't. Do you have Nandina(Heavenly Bamboo) growing where you are? The seed stems from those make wonderful trees. I will be watching to see how the grape stem dries. Good idea if it works.
I was wondering if I sprayed the stem with something if that would help preserve it? You are all too good! Everyone guessed correctly right away! I'll have to find something else for you to figure out... :)
Hi there, Kathi! I'm enjoying my visit to your blog! I was absolutely mesmerized by miniatures in my younger days. They are totally fascinating to me, and I'm just tickled to find your blog. I will live vicariously through you.
Oh, Yummy! That looks like some eaten grapes! Well, the thought of eating grapes sounds yummy...not the look of the actual stem...er..."Tree" you have there, LOL!
How clever! I just saw one of those in my bowl, last night. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was. But, I would never have thought to use it for a tree.

A grape stem! I have never considered using grape stems for a trees because I hate the way they smell! (I do like grapes though.)
Yup grapes...I have a bunch of dried ones here but am always so wary about using real things.
