Change Of Plans

I'm still experimenting with attic floor finishes. I decided that a lighter floor will be more appropriate for a beach house garage. Here's what I'm working on this morning.


I found two more cans of stain in my utility room last night when I was looking for something else. I tried one of those too.


I still need to do some sanding. LOVE my little Black and Decker helper! :D

Garage Work

It seems like I didn't get much accomplished this weekend. There is not much to show you after two days of work!

I attached the dormer to the roof and installed one window. The screened door is done. I made my first pin hinges. :D

Now I'm working on the floor for Grandma's attic. I'm not sure how I'll finish it yet? I may paint it. The furniture will be stained so I'd like some contrast on the floor.
