Grandma's Gone To Pieces!

I never liked the big hump that was on Grandma's back. It made it really difficult to make clothes for her. So now she is in pieces. Minus the hump!

I'm following Cynthia Howe's tutorial to try to put her back together. Her arms and legs are too long. That's an easy fix.

Casey sent me the perfect hair for her! It won't even need much styling. Thanks Casey! :D

Hope you have a lovely day!

Gifts from Casey and Caterina!

Caterina sent me these beautiful things for her Holiday Summer Swap. Grandma LOVES them and so does Grandpa! :D They are perfect for a summer day at the beach! Thank you Caterina!

Casey sent gifts too! Love this tiny 1/4 scale furniture. Enough to furnish an entire house! The little chairs are adorable! Just look how cute the tub and toilet are! Thank you Casey!

Casey also included some little picket fencing and two of her beautiful baskets. I think the tiny orange balls will make great oranges on a tiny orange tree? That is, if I can see them well enough to add them?!

I've been admiring how Casey uses nadina to make plants. Now I have some of that too! The "ready made" plants look like palm trees to me? I love the little "pumpkins!"

Thank you SO much Caterina and Casey! You are so kind and generous! I love each and every thing!

My daughter received very sad news yesterday. I'm sad too. Please continue your prayers for her. We are trusting in God's goodness and love. He gives us comfort and hope.

These gifts made me smile. I am so thankful for you, my blogging friends!

Gifts to Make!

I started working on the gift for the winner of my 350+ Followers Give-A-Way. There is still a lot to do. I want to thank Casey for the beautiful blue 1:144 scale wallpapers. :D

I've also been planning the five gifts I'll be making for the Pay It Forward swap. I need to go get some E-Z Water for those. . .

Thank you for all of your sweet comments and prayers for those who have lost so much in the recent tornadoes. My patients at work have been telling me about what happened to them, their families and friends. It is all just so sad.

I'm hoping a little mini-making will help me keep my mind busy. Hope you have a good weekend.

Time To Clean Up?

Casey has been cleaning and organizing, maybe I need to do that too? I don't even know where to start!

I suppose if I straightened up my desk first, that would help?

I know exactly where my needle threader and pencil sharpener are, really I do!

I bought some blue plastic storage boxes. Do you think five will be enough?

There is a closet in here. I just can't get to it!

I do have some bookshelves. But they are full.

Here's the kitchen. I know there is a toaster back there somewhere...

I'm sure everyone has saws and paint cans in their kitchen, right?

Maybe some of this stuff can go in the blue boxes?

The floor in my office/craft room needs help too. You've got to be careful where you walk. I can't even get my vacuum cleaner through the mess.

I'm always tripping over something. Including my dogs. They love to "help me" in here!

There's also stuff piled on the ironing board. I can only iron very small things!

It's so hard to think about cleaning when it's such a beautiful day.

There's a dollhouse on my dining room table that's calling me too...

Hope you enjoy your day!
Blessings,
Kathi
