Some Things You Should Never Take for Granted

This beautiful beach was only about 50 minutes from my home in Florida. I have sat on this beach and watched the sunrise many times. I wish I was there today.

I'm feeling homesick. Can you tell?

Well, I tried to leave a comment but didn't somehow. I, too, long for the beach and warmer temps even though we enjoyed our 4" of snow we had this weekend. We hope to get to the beach for spring break but our budget is tighter than usual this year.

If you already list me in your blogroll, I have changed the name of my blog from Mini Leaps and Bounds (don't know where i came up with that!) to Peach Blossom Hill if you have a minute to update that. Thank you.

I hope you are well even though you are homesick. I have that melancholy yearning sometimes missing my mother who died of cancer six years ago.

Kathi, I feel your pain. I grew up about 30 mins away from the ocean and spent so many summers days with friend and family oceanside. I miss it, especially this time of year when it's so grey and cold.

Kathi...Mick has lived all over the place incl. FL and he maintains that the Florida sunrise and sunsets are the best he has ever seen.

I miss home a lot too....but mine is 1000's of miles away :-(

I wish I was there too! I have such fond memories of spending a winter near Destin in Blue Mountain beach in a rented house.

It looks beautiful - especially after a day of rain which is what we have had today.

BTW Kathi, I had a technical hitch on my blog (playing with the Google gadgets!) and I seem to have lost you. If this was my error, please let me know.
