Coffee Shop Apartment

It's a good thing I have a lot of clamps and painter's tape!  I wanted to see how the new windows would look.  I think this might work?

I raised the back of the roof to make more headroom for the apartment.  I also extended the floor.  I would like to add a small balcony by the door upstairs.

This will be a really small apartment!   I need to squeeze a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen in here somewhere?  It will  have to be, what we call here in the US, an "efficiency apartment."  Small, but efficient.  Maybe?

I visited Apartment Therapy's Small Cool 2012 contest and found lots of inspiration for small size apartments.  Some are even called "teeny tiny!"  :D

Once I get the window frames figured out I can work on the ceiling.  I'm hoping to add exposed duct work and lights.  We'll see how that goes...

I've been  up since 3 AM measuring, cutting and clamping!  It's going to be a long day at work!  My boss if off today.  Maybe I can sneak in a nap?   LOL

I want to welcome my new followers!  Thank s to everyone who continues to patiently wait for something to happen here!  You're the best!

Kathi, hang in there, will you! That little apartment you're putting together, remember I said I would shrink myself and rent it. Well, I can't wait to move in. Ha Ha!

I have been there done that up to 3am... I also go to bed thinking about the next step in a project.... Talk about being addictive, lol...

Sorry, I deleted the last comment because I had a few typos. It's looking great and I really like how you did the windows at the top.

Wow wow wow, those windows look amazing and spectacular! I'd love to have an apt like that. Great lighting! I used to live in a small studio apartment and rather enjoyed it. Plus, the aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods every day is a huge bonus! Love the colors you've chosen for the exterior, too. Girl, you are a powerhouse!
