The Great Divide

I've decided to divide the walls of the garden center into sections of interest. This is one wall idea.

On this wall there will be an area for tropical plants and a birding center that wraps around the back corner.  These cute little bird houses were purchased from Katie at Katie's Clay Corner on Etsy. I ordered two more items from Katie today. Can't wait to show you. :D The bird cage was an Ebay find.

I will add shelves to display products that relate to each area. There will be a section for fairy gardens (1:144  scale) and one for garden art. I hope to have room for tools and supplies and space for pottery?

Let's see. I'll need wood, black paint, props and accessories, fabric, cardstock, flooring, chairs, lights...

Look what I found. White wood strip that is 3/8 inch wide and 88.5 feet long. I'm thinking, a floor perhaps?


I also have plans for these pretty little babies...



They were all on sale at SaveOnCrafts. It is a great online store for all kinds of craft supplies. If you go there, I'm sure you will find something unique and possibly useful for minis.

You will just have to stay tuned (probably for a long time) to see what I'm going to do with these things.

For now, I'm back to playing with knives. I AM going to finish the kitchen too! Really!

Only One

I only need ONE of these little things. Do you think I can find one anywhere in my house or my daughter's house? NO.



Guess I'll have to go to Office Depot tomorrow and buy a pack of 200! I really just need ONE.



Something must be done about this stained glass window. I'm just about finished with this little house. I have just a few more things to do. :D

I did finish my Christmas ornament for Sherry and put it in the mail. I'll show you some photos after she receives it. It was really fun to make and I learned some new techniques too.

I received my big box of half scale furniture from Gina today. Oh my goodness! So many little treasures! I'm not sure I can wait until next Christmas to get a house for these things? I think I like half scale minis almost as much as the "big" and "tiny" ones!

Hobby Lobby!

I love Hobby Lobby. I have a hard time getting there because of the distance but I just might have to make a trip this week!

They have their craft wood on sale with this 30% off coupon....

I'll need wood for my kitchen cabinets so I think now is the time to buy!

Of course I'll need to stop by the miniature department and the fabrics. . .

Do I dare go there? You betcha!

Back to the Christmas tree. Why is it so hard to get motivated to do that? I've done everything else I can think of this morning to avoid it.
