Orange Tree?

Here's a little orange tree that I've been working on this morning. I'm making it up as I go along...

As you can see, I have a lot more to do! The trunk is too fat so I'll add another branch or two to hide that.

There will be lots more leaves and oranges when I'm finished. I'm planning to make two of these so this will take a while!

Hope you have a lovely day,

Looks good so far, Kathi. Did you make the pot too? Can't wait to see it finished.

Kathi- how clever of you and I think it is gorgeous already! Where will you put them when they are finished?

It's looking nice already :) I just made an olive tree and realized that making trees is quite a fun thing :)

You are really getting into the flower making huh. It is looking great Kathi.

Did you make the orange as well ? I found the oranges to be a real pain when I made an orange tree.

I am cutting leaves at the moment...loads of the darn things as my current project is a huge one. I just put them on my blog.

Te esta quedando genial y es una buena idea ponerle mas ramas para que el tronco no se vea tan recio.

Casey and Kim - I didn't make the flower pot or the oranges. They were purchased from my fav Ebay seller. :D I've made golf balls and lemons so I could have made oranges, but why? :D These are beautifully made.
I'm not sure where these trees will end up? I like the idea of having pots on either side of the front door. If I ever get started on my conservatory, that's another place I can use them.
Jayne - your millions of leaves are amazing! Thanks for the tips about adding color to make them more realistic. I need to shape mine more too.
Merry J - your olive tree is great! Love the tiny little olives! :D
Ascension - muchas gracias!

Thanks Kathi...a lot of work but hopefully worth it.

Definitely add some variation on the color. I know I sound like a broken record sometimes but it really works.
