Kathi, tell your boss that I said that you could take the day off.
Don't forget to run a ball stylus, knitting needle or crochet hook between all of the joints after you install them. It will give a nice rounded edge to your stones. It will work for your slate too.
Don't know if he/she will understand but I am sure grateful for the mini tutorial. Great idea for getting that texture. Thanks Kathi and good luck with your excuse!! Carol :)
Let me tell you I completely understand. When you're in middle of something related to your hobby time can pass so quick and you'll wonder why can't the days have more hours in order to do everything you want! Sara
It's such a bummer to have to have to leave the fun! If I were your boss, I'd love to give you a "mini leave"! Can't wait to see how your stones turn out~ Hugs, Jill

Hehe, that depends does he/she have a hobby obsession as well? At least you noticed the time and showed up!

Looking good so far!
Only another miniaturist would understand how easy it is to get lost amongst egg carton pieces! HAHA! Carolyn
If I were your boss I would totally understand :)
