Grandma is relaxing outside this morning. She likes her new deck but there is still no way up and no way in. I'll work on that problem today. 
There was no relaxing for me last night. This is what happened when I first tried to move the staircase. It all fell apart.
After mumbling words you wouldn't want to hear, I tried again. Finally it all came together. Next I'm going to try to make a screen door to let the sea breezes into the attic.
I'm also working on a piece of decorative metal garden art to hang on the side instead of the wooden cross that came with the kit. I cut the palm tree out of an aluminum pie plate.

I've missed several posts recently Kathi :( Bad luck about the stairs, I think they're perhaps the most frustrating piece of a structure. BTW I do like the weathering on the outside lamp fixture you did a few days ago.
