Hi Honey, I'm Home!

The big things in life have taken me away from miniatures so long! Now I don't know where to begin again!

I'm all moved in to my "new" house and getting settled. Work has been SO busy that I've come home every evening and just gone to bed. Today I finally got my cable/internet connected!

I spent the afternoon vegging in front of the TV and now I'm trying to think of what to do next!?

I have NO counter space in my new kitchen. No place to get out my supplies and no place to actually work on my miniatures. I was checking Craigslist earlier and came up with an idea that might work? I saw a baby's changing table for sale like this one.

If I got something like this and put some casters on it then I could move it around. It would also provide some much needed storage. Do you have a work table? Where do you do your sawing and cutting and gluing?

I hope to start working on my dollhouse bathroom again soon. Maybe tomorrow? I've really missed reading everyone's blogs. Time to do some catching up!

Hope you have a safe and restful night.
Blessings,
Kathi

Sounds like you have been busy. I think the changing table is a great idea. I have seen them used for things like that before.
Have a great week.

I'd like to live in a house like yours, must be nice. I live in a one-room-flat and I have only a kitchenet. In my single room I have one table. It is good for my computer-desk, I eat there, I work there, and when I have guests, about 10 people can sit around and eat. I have many boxes under my bed, where all the stuff is in and so everything could be clear in a few minutes, when someone's going to visit me.
But mostly I live in my workroom or work in my livingroom.
I hope you find a good solution for your need too! Hope you find a good rest from you exhausting work too.

Oh, KATHI! Congratulations on your new home. It's sweet and cozy. Your rocker looks perfect there, and those new plantings -- oooh how fabulous. Welcome home. Hope to see you working on your dollhouse soon. xoxo

The house looks so nice!
The changing table seems like a good idea. I work on a small wood table which gets quite full of things as I work, then I put things on the floor... until I put everything away and then start taking things out again for the next project. :) It's a small place but the table is sturdy and easy to clean. I also work a lot on my computer and it is in a different room.
I hope you can start working on your miniatures soon!

Thank everyone for your good wishes and encouragement! I'm lacking motivation but I think it's all due to fatigue. Reading your blogs makes me miss my minis and is inspiring me to get back to work! :D
