It seems like I didn't get much accomplished this weekend. There is not much to show you after two days of work!
I attached the dormer to the roof and installed one window. The screened door is done. I made my first pin hinges. :D
Now I'm working on the floor for Grandma's attic. I'm not sure how I'll finish it yet? I may paint it. The furniture will be stained so I'd like some contrast on the floor.
Hope you have fun making minis today. I have to go to work. UGH.
Kathi- your screen door looks amazing! Congrats on your first pin hinges- you should be very proud of that door :) I love the floor too. I "stained" one of the floors in my last house by painting on acrylic paint and then wiping most of it off so you could still see the wood grain- that might be fun to try? Hope you have a great week :)
Thanks for your comments! I used tulle from my daughter's wedding veil for the screening. I sprayed it lightly with silver spray paint. You can hardly see it, but it's there. :D

Slowly but surely, isn't that the name of the game? :D The floor looks great so far!
It's going to look like a real hardwood floor--lovely!

The screen door looks great! What are you going to use for screening?
