Countertop and Faucet?

I cut the butcher block countertop this morning. This piece of wood came from MicroMark. The 1/8" boards are already glued together. I plan to stain it to match the bar top table.

The faucet is a work in progress. Right now you just see the bits and pieces I may use to make it...

It's Monday and I have to go back the the real world. Hope you had a great weekend!

If you didn't watch the Super Bowl, you missed a great game and some really cute commercials. :D

it looks like you've got a very good start on it, I can't wait to see how it looks when you finish it.

Looks nice. I will be following this post. I would love to figure out a way to make ( or find ) some realistic looking water faucet.
(agreed on the Superbowl)

Finding faucets in a more modern style has been impossible. All I can see is those little stubby brass ones. NOT what I want here.

I may just "HAVE to go to Michaels" :D to find the right beads? Star or oval shaped "porcelain" would be nice! LOL

I just thought of something! Why not make them from clay????

I'm going to try that. Don't hold your breath though. I'm bad with clay! We're talkin' REALLY bad.
