Hmmmm.... I wonder if I could do this?
Guess it wouldn't hurt to try?
Deborah just commented on my last post with another great idea. She suggested using a rubber stamp and shrink plastic. Like this -
Another new thing to try! Thanks Deborah!
I love learning new things. :D

We had a similar product called "shrinky-Dinks" when I was little. We colored the plastic with markers, them put them in the oven. Looks like there are a lot of design ideas - Are you going to attempt the "glass" stair case?
Here's a good link that might help. http://scissorspaperwok.com/2011/07/18/how-to-make-clothing-buttons-from-shrink-plastic/
Yep Troy, Shrinky Dinks were exactly what I was thinking of too! So much fun to watch as they shrank! =D
And Kathi, you can also use clear plastic like from a bakery container I think it's marked with a #6, and it will shrink exactly the same way! (You might be able to buy a large cake container from the grocery store bakery for way cheaper than the shrink plastic! Just remember to use a fine sandpaper or emery board to lightly scuff your surface and use permanent inks for stamping. (also remember to punch the holes first {and yes they will shrink too!} before heating and shrinking the pieces)
Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Oh my gawds, my craft supply wish list just exploded. Kathi I would love to see you try those stairs with this method.
