Up and Down Staircase

Not a great photo but at least you can see some progress made!

I used up all of my printer ink trying to get the mural the right size! It's still about a half inch too short. I would like it to meet the top of the landing? I tried a piece of chair rail there but that didn't look quite right.

I want to add some trim to the side of the landing and on the front edge of the first step.

I added a wall under the stairs facing the front door. I can't turn the house around to show you now but it looks great! There might be enough space under the stairs for a little desk?

Hope you have a beautiful day!

Its looking lovely. The muriel is amazing, definately worth all the ink! I like the way you have made the stairs turn too. Can't wait to see more :0)

Las escaleras te han quedado fantasticas y el mural me encanta. Vale la pena toda la tinta que has utilizado.
Seguramente que daria bien un escritorio debajo de la escalera, pruebalo.

Exactly what size do you want the mural to be? When I have a particular size in mind, I usually end up pasting the picture into a Word document and using the "picture" option to get my size by using the measurements along the side and top. Sometimes the picture can get very slightly distorted but usually it doesn;t matter. Probably wouldn;t even be noticed in your application.

Love the turned landing...if not a desk (can't tell the size of opening) you could surely put shelving in the nook.

I love the stairs and the mural. Are you going to use the space between the little wall and stairs as a hideaway for anything?

It looks lovely Kathi! I really like the art you painted on the stairs, it's such an original detail.

Love it Kathi.

Whenever I am not sure about something I am about to print the first version always gets printed on the super ink saver function. that way I don't waste as much if it didn't work :-)
