Gifts from Jill

I forgot to show you what I received from Jill at Little Nest Studio. I was one of the winners of her Fabulous Mystery Gift give-a-way! Jill is so creative and sent me the most darling things!

I love the embroidered mermaid! The table and beach bag will be perfect for my beach house! The little white vase is precious!

Thank you so much Jill! I really love the things you made for me! :D

Kat the Hat Lady sent me a beautiful fall hat for Grandma too. Thanks Kat!

I haven't stopped making minis. Really. I just needed one little piece of wood to finish Mike's house. One tiny 1/16" square dowel. I can't believe I could not find one around here somewhere! A quick trip to Michaels today solved that problem.

I finished the egg shell patio. I just need to fix roof on Mike's house and then I can start putting the landscaping together. Hopefully, I'll finish this project soon and have photos to show you?

Hope you had a good weekend!

Busy Sunday

I've been very busy today! I woke up before sunrise and started making minis. Made a quick (?) trip to Michael's and now I'm back at it again!

I just found something else I enjoy doing! Beading! Of course more supplies were needed. Whenever you start doing something new you need more stuff!

Sure hope the enthusiasm and energy keeps flowing! I'm working on my Christmas Swap gifts too. I think I have four projects going right now! Wish this was a four day weekend!

Just had to check in and see what everyone has been doing! Seems like we're all busy!

Blessings,
Kathi

Verwy Verwy Tired

I'm so tired this evening. I just finished a little project that has taken me about a week or so to complete. Now that it's done and in the mail, I feel very worn out for some reason?

Perhaps all of that planning, concentration, and eye strain has taken its toll. Right now I can't even imagine starting something else!

Maybe a good night's sleep and a few days rest will bring back the energy I need? It's amazing how exhausting miniature making can be, but it's a good feeling having created something special for someone. I did take some photos that I'll share later...

Mindless Activity

I think it may be time for some mindless TV. I need to give my mini mind a rest.

I tried to finish a couple of things today but am getting frustrated. My dresser drawer sticks, my dust ruffle is crooked, and my dollhouse is a mess with half finished projects...

Maybe a good football game, a movie or a dog show will take my mind off minis for a while? Is that possible?

Peace,
Kathi
