Casey also sent me some tiny shells, a shell stamp and some bunka that matches the cushions.

Casey has a tutorial on her blog today for making a display "room" to show off miniatures. I've just started mine...

Casey, you are a wonderful friend and I am so thankful for these lovely gifts!
Hope you had a beautiful day. I know I did!
Blessings,
Kathi

That chair turned out wonderful-- Casey is so incredibly talented. I love the cushion fabric- it's so perfect for your little beach house!

That is a gorgeous chair! Glad you had such a beautiful day, Kathi!
Kathi, I am so glad that the chair arrived all in one piece. It didn't take a long time either. I had to laugh at your comment about the oval shell. That's exactly what I used them for. I wish I could remember where I got them and also what kind of shells they are.
Lucky, lucky you! What a gorgeous chair! I love it. I am going to buy the book Casey recommended and try my hand at wicker furniture. I am trying to learn upholstering just now and hoping I can master that!

oh, the chair is so pretty! I can't wait to see where you put it in your house! I love your little scene from Casey's tutorial- I thought that was a good project to try too- I need to get to the store for some foam core. I can't wait to see yours finished- it is going to be so cute!
Mooie stoel Casey: o). Ik hou van Rieten.
Zie mijn stoel ook.

Love the display! I can almost smell the surf and hear the waves. :-)
The chair came out lovely! I like that aqua fabric, too. :)
