We Can Work It Out

I've done a lot of fussing and fighting today with my chairs.

One thing I learned is that it is almost impossible to glue painted pieces of wood together. A second thing I learned is that a 16th of an inch is HUGE. The third thing I learned is that it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to continue a project that keeps falling apart.

For some reason, this video came to mind.

I read somewhere that Gorilla Glue might work? Got any ideas? Help!

Patience is Your Friend

I love the comment in the instructions I found at Craftstylish.com for weaving a paper basket. "Patience is your friend at this point."

Here is my second attempt at basket making. So far so good?

I was trying to make a little basket for the bathroom. This is all I've done. I don't think I am destined to be a basket maker. My patience has run out!

It's back to the shower curtain. I'm hoping the glue I used this time will hold the hooks? We'll see how that goes. Remember, patience is your friend. = }

If you'd like to make some baskets, check out Casey's link/tutorials. I might try one of these instead? Thanks Casey.

Hope you have a beautiful day!
Blessings,
Kathi

Patience is a Virtue

This morning I've been working on the last of my Christmas swap gifts. On a scale of difficulty, this one is at the point of being very challenging!

One is completed with four more to go. Guess I need to muster up some more patience and get these finished!

Thanks to everyone for sending me your swap gifts! Just as soon as I finish MY projects they will be in the mail to you! If I didn't keep thinking up more things to make I would have been done weeks ago! :)

Hope you have a beautiful day!
